RaspyBerry Red

I love berries, especially raspberries.

My Oma has a long row of raspberry bushes and a couple years ago she gave me some which have spread and produced sweet little treats here at my home too. Very exciting.
One thing she does that is a fond childhood memory is her raspberry juice concentrate. Dilute it with a little water and add sugar - tastes great over creme of wheat or oatmeal mmm.
Recently she gave me a couple jars :D. Now I am on a mission of finding ways of putting it to proper use.

Here is a delicious Raspberry Vinaigrette:

1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
1/4 cup raspberry juice concentrate
1/4 cup sugar
2 tsp Dijon mustard (optional)
1/4 tsp ground oregano
1/8 tsp vegetable pepper (1/4 tsp black pepper)
1/8 tsp ground marjoram
1/8 tsp ground thyme

Motivation for this week: Doo Little

This group is rightfully named, Spelbound, it is a phenomenal gymnastic act. The final act is amazing as well. Reminds me of during the credits of the really good French film La Belle Verte (The Green Beautiful)

Made a broccoli cauliflower recipe with creamy vinaigrette dressing...not sure what to call it yet, any suggestions?

Have a hard time apply the KISS method, thus my recipes are typically complicated (involve lots of ingredients without accurate measurements) Here's a try anyway...

head of broccoli cut up into small florets
half a head of cauliflower broken into small pieces
3-4 strips of bacon minced
small to medium red onion minced
1/4 green bell pepper diced
*dressing:
1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
1/4 cup fine sugar
1/8 cup apple cider vinegar
1/2 tsp tarragon vinegar
tablespoon red wine vinegar
tablespoon horseradish sauce
1 1/2 teaspoons dijon mustard
1 1/2 teaspoons mayonnaise
1/4 teaspoon tabasco sauce
clove (1/2 tsp) minced garlic
1/4 teaspoon tarragon leaves
1/8 teaspoon ground ginger
2 drops Young Living lemon oil (substitute for 1/8 cup lemon juice)
dash of sea salt and vegetable pepper
*amounts are estimates, may be more or less since I dump stuff in as I perceive right.

Music of the moment is by beautiful "ELIZA DOOLITTLE"

For some reason I like those high waisted shorts and want to wear them with knee high boots. Not sure how to achieve this look and simultaneously avoid appearing like a prostitute. Fashion is full of puzzles.
